Curious what’s actually in the air you breathe? This course puts real monitoring equipment in participants’ hands and shows them how to read it. It is built in tiers so every learner gets the right depth: school students get a hands-on, activity-based introduction to air pollution and simple sensors; +2/higher-secondary students go a step further into instruments and basic data reading; and bachelor’s and master’s students get full methodology, instrumentation, calibration and data analysis they can use in research. A live guest-lecture demonstration at a school or college can take students from “what’s PM2.5?” to reading a live air-quality readout in a single session, memorable science that gets students excited about environmental careers.
Why this training?
Air pollution has become one of Nepal’s most significant public health and environmental challenges, yet many institutions lack the technical capacity to monitor and interpret air quality data. This practical training introduces participants to modern monitoring instruments, calibration techniques, data interpretation and pollution-source identification, designed in multiple levels to suit schools, colleges, universities, researchers and technical professionals.
